Terms & Comditions

 

1. Guests must abide by the Body Corporate Rules of the building they are staying. These rules are displayed inside each apartment and include;

 

* Respect the residential amenities and occupants of neighbouring properties

 

* Maintain the security and safety of the premises and report any concerns about the property to Mount Buller Apartment Rentals (MBAR) within 12 hours of arrival.

 

* Disruptive and anti-social behaviour will result in police action and immediate termination of the guest stay. 

 

* Luggage and personal belongings are not to be stored in the public areas of the building.

 

2. The maximum number of occupants is not to exceed the agreed number of people (including children aged over the age of two) when booking the property and is as listed on the Mt Buller Apartment Rentals website, or booking agents website. Overloading will render the tenant liable to immediate termination of the booking. 

 

3. BOND – Bond payments will be collected by MBAR and are secured by a valid credit card prior to the guests arrival. The bond will be fully refunded 5-7 days after guest departure once the property has been inspected and found to be in good condition. Any malicious damage, theft, irresponsible behaviour and excessive mess will incur a loss or either part or all of your bond.

 

4. Premises are to be left clean and tidy, rubbish to be taken to the nearest garbage hut, rubbish left in the apartment will incur a $50 charge.

 

5. Tenants are to allow MBAR staff or contractors to enter the premises to carry out necessary repairs or inspections if the need arises.

 

6. Lost Keys to be reported to the office and paid for immediately. A $150 charge will be incurred for a lost key or ski locker padlock.

 

7. No Smoking at any time inside any apartments. A $250 reinstatement fee will be charged to the bond if the property is found to have been smoked in.

 

8. Strictly no pets under any circumstances inside the property. A $250 contract cleaning fee will be levied and additional charges if damage is done to the property.

 

9. All linen is supplied to the apartment. Missing linen items will be charged to the bond at retail price.

 

10. Furniture and household effects are not to be removed from the premises or rearranged.

 

11. Keys to be left in the apartment on the kitchen bench when you depart.

 

12. All apartments are individually owned and are available for rent through Mt Buller Apartment Rentals. Every effort is made to portray the facilities and details of each individual apartment on our website or booking agents website. In an unforeseen situation we reserve the right to alter the advertised rate, substitute another property or withdraw availability of a property.

 

13. Payment Terms and Conditions: 

 

Full payment is required within 24 hours of booking being made. Reservations can be cancelled if monies are not received within 2 days or on the due date stated.

 

All Rental Monies to be paid by Credit Card which will incur a 1.2% surcharge. 

 

14. In the event of a cancelled booking written notice must be received by Mt Buller Apartment Rentals (MBAR) no less than 30  days prior to the commencement of the booking. All monies received will be refunded to the guest, less an administration fee of $100. 

 

If a guest cancels within 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival, any accommodation deposits, full payments and commissions is fully non refundable. If the accommodation is able to be rebooked for the exact dates of the cancelled booking, the original guest will receive a refund less 25%.

 

We Strongly Recommend Taking out Travel Insurance incase of the event of a cancellation.

 

Snow guarantee

 

If Mt Buller Snow Guarantee lifts (see the table below) aren’t operating for skiing/snowboarding in the two days before you arrive, you can contact MBAR or external booking agent directly to change your booking to a later date (this may incur higher rates) or cancel your booking and receive a refund (25% agent booking fees and commissions are not refundable).  Please note: You can’t take advantage of the Snow Guarantee on the day you arrive nor during your stay, only between 9am two days prior to your arrival through to 5pm on the day before you arrive.

15. Check in is 3.30pm and check out is 10.00am.

 

You may request an early check in or late check out, this cannot be guaranteed and will not be known until a few days before your arrival. Please do not make your plans around this. If you wish to ski the day of arrival/departure the best option is to leave your luggage in the car, take the day shuttle up to the village and when the apartment is ready you can retrieve your luggage and check in.
