TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Guests must abide by the Body Corporate Rules of the building they are staying. These rules are displayed inside each apartment and include:

* Respect the residential amenities and occupants of neighbouring properties

* Maintain the security and safety of the premises and report any concerns about the property to MBAR within 12 hours of arrival.

* Disruptive and anti social behaviour will result in police action and immediate termination of the guest stay.

* Luggage is not to be stored in the public areas of the building.

2. The maximum number of occupants is not to exceed the agreed number of people when booking the property and is as listed on the Mt Buller Apartment Rentals website, or booking agents website. Overloading will render the tenant liable to termination of the booking.

3. BOND - Bond payments will be collected by MBAR and are secured by a valid credit card prior to the guests arrival. The bond will be fully refunded 5-7 days after guest departure once the property has been inspected and found to be in good condition. Any malicious damage, theft, irresponsible behaviour and excessive mess will incur a loss or either part or all of your bond.

4. Premises are to be left clean and tidy, rubbish to be taken to the nearest garbage hut, rubbish left in the apartment will incur a $50 charge.

5. Tenants to allow MBAR staff or contractors to enter the premises to carry out necessary repairs or inspections if the need arises.

6. Lost Keys to be reported to the office and paid for immediately. A $50 charge will be uncured for a lost key.

7. No Smoking at any time inside any apartments. A $250 reinstatement fee will be charged to the bond if the property is found to have been smoked in.

8. Strictly no pets under any circumstances inside the property. A $250 contract cleaning fee will be levied and additional charges if damage is done to the property.

9. All linen is supplied to the apartment. Missing linen items will be charged to the bond at retail price.

10. Furniture and household effects are not to be removed from the premises or rearranged.

11. Keys to be left in the apartment on the kitchen bench when you depart.

12. All apartments are individually owned and are available for rent through Mt Buller Apartment Rentals. Every effort is made to portray the facilities and details of each individual apartment on our website or booking agents website. In an unforeseen situation we reserve the right to alter the advertised rate , substitute another property or withdraw availability of a property.

13. Payment Terms and Conditions:

Full payment is required within 24 hours of booking being made. In the case of a reservation being made 3 months or longer in advance 50% deposit required and the remaining 50% one month prior to arrival.

Reservations can be canceled if monies are not received by the due date.

All Rental Monies to be paid by EFT transfer or Credit card ( 2% surcharge)

14. Cancellation:

In the event that you want to cancel a booking, written notice must be received no less than one month prior to your arrival. All monies received will be refunded, less an administration fee ( 25% of the total tariff)

If less than one month notice is given, all monies received will be forfeited.

No refunds will be given unless it is Snow Guarantee related. In such cases booking fees and commissions are still payable ( 25% of the total tariff)

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND TAKING OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELLATION.

15. CHECK IN/CHECK OUT

Check in is 3.30pm and check out is 10am.

You may request an early check in or late check out, this cannot be guaranteed and will not be known until a few days before your arrival. Please do not make your plans around this. If you wish to ski the day of arrival/departure the best option is to leave your luggage in the car, take the day shuttle up to the village and when the apartment is ready you can retrieve your luggage and check in

MT BULLER RESORT - IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

SNOW DRIVING AND WHEEL CHAINS.

If you're driving to Mt Buller and staying overnight, you will need to carry wheel chains by law. These can be hired from many outlets in Mansfield on your way up the mountain. If you are required to fit the wheel chains you will be stopped and directed to do so by a parking attendant. Driving in snowy and icy conditions can be very different to regular driving and therefore you need to adjust your driving to stay safe.

RESORT ENTRY FEES AND CARPARKING

You'll know you're nearly at Mt Buller when you reach the Resort entry gates at Mirimbah, at the base of the mountain. Here you'll need to pay the Resort entry fee, which is a levy set by the government that contributes to maintaining essential services within the Resort. These services include environmental management, snow clearing, water treatment, garbage collection, recycling and more. At the Resort entry gates you can also pre-pay for your over-snow taxi fare if you are staying overnight. You'll need to pay for a taxi to transport you from the car parks (which are located 1.5km - 3km below the Mt Buller Village) to your accommodation. If you're just coming for the day and have no luggage, you can jump on a FREE Village shuttle buses to whisk you up to the Village in a couple of minutes. NO SNOW? MONEY BACK!

The Snow Guarantee is provided by Buller Ski Lifts and participating Mt Buller accommodation providers to give confidence when booking a snow holiday.  It's a money-back guarantee on all prepaid accommodation, lift ticket, rental and lesson packages and applies if insufficient snow cover means 'Snow Guarantee' lift/s are not operating for skiing/snowboarding in the two (2) days before your arrival.

How does it work?

If Mt Bullers Snow Guarantee lifts (see the table below) aren't operating in the two (2) days before you arrive, you can contact us or your booking agent to change your booking to a later date or cancel your booking and get a refund (see cancellation section of Terms and Conditions).  Please note: You can't take advantage of the Snow Guarantee on the day you arrive nor during your stay, only between 9am two days prior to your arrival through to 5pm on the day before you arrive.  E.g. if your scheduled day of arrival is Sunday, you must call between 9am Friday and 5pm Saturday to apply the guarantee to your booking.

Exclusions

Note: The Snow Guarantee only applies if the lifts aren't operating due to insufficient snow cover. It does not apply where the lifts aren't operating due to following:

  • Lift closure due to weather conditions other than insufficient snow, e.g. wind or ice;
  • Lift closure due to mechanical breakdowns or equipment failure.

The Snow Guarantee also doesn't apply to the following:

  • Retail tickets purchased via the e-store or at on-mountain sales offices;
  • Booking fees or commissions payable to booking agents.
